Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

I am not really sure what all the fuss was about with this recipe. I think it was just another coffee cake... nothing special at all. The topping was okay and the cake itself was just okay. I have had better.

Brown Butter Cookies

I made these for church along with a couple of other batches of cookies and these were the last to go. I think the flavor took some getting used to, but after a couple, I was hooked. They are very sweet and would go nicely with some coffee. I don't think I will make them again, however, because it seemed like the whole process from start to finish took a very long time.

Four Spice Crackles

These were good. I made the recipe exactly as stated and thought they were perfect... not too sweet, not too much spice. I did roll them in course Wilton's decorating sugar, which I am glad I did. They looked pretty and I liked the added texture.
