This is a great recipe. I use it at least once a week. I can make a big batch and then stick them in the freezer. Our 7 year old loves to stick one in the toaster every morning for breakfast before school. Usually then he smothers some cinnamon/sugar butter on top and eats it on his way to the bus stop. It definitely beats out pop tarts and commercial frozen waffles.

These are the best waffles I or my family has ever had! My toddler especially loves them. I added a little more sugar and vanilla, and they turned out great. No more box mixes for us!

I followed the recipe exactly and the final product was great if not better than any other recipes I've used before. SO SIMPLE and fast, no mucking around with beating eggs separately and all that. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. I was pleasantly surprised by ending up with 7 serving instead of 5. Yeh... more for me. I used the 5 heart, flower shaped waffle iron. Well use again in the future and probably will tweek it a bit just for the sake of doing so with flavourings and such. Thank for sharing.

Delicious! I added a bit more sugar, a splash more of vanilla (my husband likes sweet waffles), and a few shakes of cinnamon. Turned out tasting SO yummy.

These waffles are sooo good! Oh my god I love them! I had been experimenting with diferent recipes but I think I found my favorite. They are nice and crispy just how I like them and they're soft on the inside. I was able to get 8 square waffles from it and I added little chocolate melts to two of them which really made them special. Other than that, I only upped the vanilla to a 1/2 tbsp and I had to use and egg replacer because we ran out of eggs. I topped them with lite syrup, whip cream, berries, and nuts. My sister and me were so happy. I'm freezing the rest for my parents.

Classic is a good word for these. They are not fancy or elaborate, just plain old good waffles. I made a double batch and froze most of them so I can have waffles whenever I want.

I am wondering if I should have beat the eggs longer, but I didn't like these much at all. I know it wasn't my baking powder either. They turned out a little chewy and flat. Sorry this just wasn't for my family.

Very easy and tasty recipe. I did one and a half of this recipe to make enough for my hungry family. I added fresh blueberries to the batter too. I also increased the sugar by one tablespoon to help the crunch of the waffles. We served ours with homemade whipped cream and fresh berries. YUMMM!!

These turned out very nicely for us. I veganized them by using soy milk (in place of cow's milk) and flaxseed/water mix (in place of the eggs). I also made them a bit lower fat (maybe even fat free!) by using applesauce (blueberry applesauce to be exact) in place of the melted butter. This is definitely going to be our go-to recipe for waffles from now on. Thanks!
